Eric’s Bar Mitzvah’s project at Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation Synagogue. He collected money by selling lollipops and bracelets as well as "Teddies for Charity". People purchased, tagged and boxed bears to be given each to a child in crisis.
Eric is continuing this project and doing a terrific job! We are very proud of him.

Samantha, a student at the Churchill School in New York City, has sold over 50 Hugs bracelets to help buy teddy bears for children in crisis.
Although Samantha's Bat Mitzvah is over a year away she explained that "I always try my best to do mitzvahs every year." ....and Hugs says, "Good for you Samantha'!!!
